We're younger full time RVers, and landed a work contract in downtown San Francisco. We found this park and were thrilled that it's just a couple blocks from a BART station. We were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was to stay here for a few months. Decent food nearby (the Salvadorian place across the street is great!), shopping (Trader Joe's within walkin distance!) and accessible to all areas of the Bay Area. The park is a eclectic mix of full time residents in single wide trailers and other folks working in the area on contract. We stayed in the front area with other trailers/motorhomes (some newer, some older), and everyone was super friendly and trustworthy. The staff was awesome and friendly. This turned out to be a wonderful, and affordable, place to set up in as a base of operations while we needed to be in the area. We would not hesitate to return.

An excellent balance of a state/national park campground feeling and the amenities of a RV Park/resort. Beautiful wooded facility, very shaded and peaceful feeling. Well maintained bathrooms, walking trails and wifi! Although, you have to be pretty close to the office to pick it up. Our cellphones though Verizon and T Mobile also had decent signal. The staff is super friendly too. During our stay in early October 2007, we were virtually the only ones there.

Arrived after dark, and it sure was nice to not have to worry about backing into a spot - all the spots are pull thrus along the loops. When we woke up in the morning, we had a fabulous view of Devil's Tower behind us. Bathhouse was clean and in good shape.

Decent distance between the sites, clean facilities, working wifi, decent cell phone signal, Verizon & T Mobile. Just what we needed after several days of boondocking to catch up on laundry, showers and work. Nothing spectacular though. The manager on duty was a bit frazzled when we arrived, as the owner of the park had not shown up to relieve him. He made comments that the owner doesn't do much to maintain the park. If that's true, it didn't show - things seemed in nice working order.

Wow! What a treat this park is. Beautiful surroundings and lots of pull-thru spaces. At $16/night in a state park, I wasn't also expecting to get electric/water hook-ups and showers. Absolutely perfect and couldn't have been more delighted with this park.
